Refund Policy

This policy explains when fees paid to DECENT CONVENT SCHOOL CHHANDRAN ("the School") can be refunded and how to request a refund. It applies to payments made at the school office and online.

1. Registration and Prospectus Fee

The registration fee and the cost of the prospectus or admission form are non-refundable, whether or not admission is granted.

2. Admission Fee

The admission fee is a one-time charge and is non-refundable once admission has been confirmed, except where the School itself is unable to offer the seat.

3. Tuition and Monthly / Quarterly Fees

• If a student is withdrawn, fees for the month or quarter in which the withdrawal is made are not refundable.
• Fees paid in advance for later months or quarters will be refunded after all dues are cleared.
• A written notice of withdrawal must be given to the school office. Fees are charged until the month in which the notice is received.

4. Security Deposit (Caution Money)

Any refundable security deposit is returned when the student leaves the School, after adjusting any outstanding dues and after the Transfer Certificate has been issued.

5. Transport and Other Charges

Transport, books, uniform, activity and examination charges are not refundable once the service has started or the items have been issued.

6. Duplicate or Failed Online Payments

If an online payment is deducted from your account more than once, or is deducted but not received by the School, please share the transaction details with the school office. After verification, the excess amount will be refunded to the original payment method, usually within 7–10 working days.

7. How to Request a Refund

1. Submit a written application to the school office of your child's branch.
2. Attach copies of the relevant fee receipts or transaction references.
3. Once approved, refunds are made to the original payment method or by cheque / bank transfer in the name of the parent or guardian.

8. Changes to This Policy

The School may update this policy. The version published on this page at the time of the refund request will apply.
